We are the fandom. To us, Sherlock will always be the only detective show worth watching, and Sherlock Holmes will always be real. To us, Harry Potter is not nerdy or childish - it’s a legit fantasy of ours to have our own wand. To us, the Hunger Games will never be ‘too violent’ or ‘weird’, it’ll be the most epic story ever that we all wish we could take part in. To us, the Doctor is the biggest badass ever, and we’d all really love to be his companion. We live our lives through the BBC, tumblr and fanfiction. We don’t need facebook or twitter, except to follow the people who create the things we love. The internet is our whole life, because we don’t need to be a part of the egotistical contest that is ‘the real world’. All our friends are just like us, even if we haven’t ever seen them before in our lives. We are the fandom, and we love what we do.
